Maui Weddings at Gannon's Wailea

Tiffany and Sergio celebrated their wedding vows with us last night at Wailea's beautiful Gannon's lower wedding knoll with about 40 friends and family on a gorgeous Maui afternoon. Maui Wedding Planners Marry Me Maui were on hand to coordinate and photograph this sublime ceremony with Reverend Diana George and our favorite Maui musician Charles Nahale who mesmerized the gathering with a chicken skin producing version of The Hawaiian Wedding song among other selections. The beach is just across the street so we took the couple down after the ceremony and family portraits for some beach photography and another fabulous Maui sunset.

Eye contact. That's our tip for couples today. Nothing is more important than eye contact for those memorable wedding photos. Most of our Maui Wedding ceremonie s last about 15 minutes; short and sweet. 15 or 20 minutes for your photographer to capture something that happens once in your lifetime. Not to put too much pressure on the wedding couple, but the beauty of your Maui wedding images depend not only on the professionalism of your photographer, but also by your facial expressions, relaxed attitude and eye contact with each other and the camera. During the ceremony, your attention should be on the person you are marrying. Maui Beach Weddings Question: What about the weather?

"What do we do in case of rain?" is something we hear very often. Marry Me Maui does about 200 weddings per year. Most of them are beach weddings at various locations around the island. We try to keep the locations near our clients' accommodations but sometimes that's not possible because either the beach is not suitable for a wedding, there's no parking or the beach might be off limits by law (Kaanapali Beach). We are required to pull permits from the state for every beach wedding and they allow us 2 locations. This is usually sufficient to avoid a rain-out in cases of inclement weather. Kapalua Bay Maui is home to 10 of the 13 "life zones" on planet earth and also host various micro-climates.
